What's inside each course
Listening
Six listening parts mirror the official test: Problem Solving, Daily Life Conversations, Information, News Items, Discussions, and Viewpoints. Lessons walk you through note-taking strategies, common distractor patterns, and how to lock in the correct answer when two options sound similar.
Reading
Four reading parts cover Correspondence, Diagram, Information, and Viewpoints. The course teaches you to scan for keywords, infer meaning from context, and manage the strict 55-minute time budget without panicking on the longer passages.
Writing
Two writing tasks — Email and Survey Response — broken down by tone, structure, and scoring rubric. Includes annotated CLB 9 / CLB 10+ samples so you see exactly what the rater is looking for in coherence, vocabulary, grammar, and task fulfillment.
Speaking
All eight speaking tasks: Giving Advice, Personal Experience, Describing a Scene, Making Predictions, Comparing & Persuading, Difficult Situation, Expressing Opinions, and Unusual Situation. Each lesson includes a template, three sample answers at different CLB levels, and pacing drills.
Vocabulary & Collocations
Two dedicated word courses: Foundations covers the everyday Canadian English vocabulary you will hear across Listening and Reading; the Collocations Kit teaches the natural word combinations that push Writing and Speaking responses into the CLB 9+ band.
How to use these courses
- Take a diagnostic mock exam first. Knowing your starting CLB level tells you which sections deserve the most study time. Aim for the section where the score-to-effort ratio is best.
- Read each lesson actively. Pause at the sample answers and copy the structure into your notes. Learning the template is more useful than memorizing the words.
- Apply immediately. After each lesson, do 1–2 practice questions on that exact task, submit for AI scoring, and see whether the new technique moved your dimension scores. Repeat until the structure feels automatic.
